Zebrawood Bedroom Set
This queen-size bed set was designed using the customer’s request for a specific look and color. Crafted from ebonized ash and zebrawood, the bed features a beautifully contrasting wood grain that adds depth and character. The ebonized ash provides a rich, dark foundation, while the zebrawood’s light, striking stripes introduce an element of natural drama. The set is complemented by two matching nightstands, each crafted with the same combination of woods, offering a harmonious, cohesive look.
The bed is solid ash and zebrawood while the side tables use veneered zebrawood for the side panels and birch plywood for the back. The drawers are solid zebrawood fronts dovetailed to solid soft maple sides and back. The ash is stained with General Finishes black water based stain. The entire set is then sealed with several coats OSMO Polyx Hard Wax Oil satin finish.
The drawers are mounted on Blum concealed runner system that are push to open and soft close. This results in no hardware being visible.
The bowl on the side table was turned by David.
