Coffee Table
This coffee table showcases bookmatched Bubinga veneer over Baltic birch plywood, with the grain pattern flowing continuously across the top and around both ends. The rounded corners were shaped using kerf-bent veneer formed over a custom mold and set with a vacuum press for even, consistent pressure across the entire piece as the glue cured.
Two soft closing drawers on each side provide ample storage, complemented by open shelving above, while three coats of Osmo Polyx satin finish bring out the warmth of the wood and provide a durable, low-sheen protective surface.
Purple heart was used as accent in and around the drawers as well as for the tray.
